The prices of all major chemicals, such as thermoset resins, paints & coatings, adhesives and sealants, and, packaging materials, increased in Q4 2025 as compared to Q4 of 2024. In Q4 2025, prices of thermoset resins, packaging materials, adhesives & sealants, and paints & coatings increased by 2.4%, 4.0%, 2.7%, and 5.8% respectively as compared to Q4 2024. Thermoplastic resin price declined by 1.9% in Q4 2025 vs. Q4 2024. Chemical prices increased in Q4 2025 driven by factors such as rising raw material and energy costs, seasonal demand spikes, supply chain constraints, and specific market dynamics in regional hubs like Asia. In the forecast period, prices of all chemicals are expected to follow the same price trend as Q4 2025.
