The prices of all major chemicals, such as Thermoset resins, paints & coatings, adhesives and sealants, and, packaging materials increased in Q3 2025 as compared to Q3 of 2024. In Q3 2025, prices of thermoset resins, packaging materials, adhesives & sealants, and paints & coatings increased by 4.7%, 8.1%, 3.1%, and 2.0% respectively as compared to Q3 2024. Thermoplastic resin price declined by 2.2% in Q3 2025 vs. Q3 2024. Chemical prices rose in Q3 2025 due to a combination of factors such as strong industrial output and domestic demand, high energy costs, and logistical challenges. In the forecast period, prices of all chemicals are expected to follow the same price trend as Q3 2025. The figure below shows changes in prices of various chemicals in Q3 2025 and forecast for Q4 2025.
