Toray Carbon Fibers Europe Starts New Production Facility

Toray Carbon Fibers Europe informed that the operational start‑up of its new carbon fiber production facility at its plant in South-West France. The new facility will produce T300 and high modulus (HM) carbon fibers and increases the plant’s total annual capacity from 5,000 to 6,000 tons. This investment, announced in 2023 by Toray Industries, Inc., marks a major industrial milestone for the Group. The new production capacity will be fully operational in the second half of 2026. With this step, Toray reaffirms its long‑term investment strategy in Europe, aimed at securing a robust local supply chain and improving the availability of TORAYCA high‑performance carbon fibers.
