Toray Advanced Composites Expands NCAMP Qualifications of High-Performance Low Melt PAEK Composite Material System

Published : June 12, 2026

Toray Advanced Composites expanded NCAMP qualifications for its high-performance Toray Cetex TC1225 LMPAEK thermoplastic composite material system, further broadening approved material formats and processing methodologies.

Toray has successfully expanded the high-performance Toray Cetex LMPAEK NCAMP databases to include TC1225/TORAYCA T700 uni-directional (UD) tape prepreg. Toray Cetex TC1225 becomes the first thermoplastic composite material system NCAMP qualified in both woven and uni-directional material formats, further expanding versatility of design and processing options. This builds on Toray’s qualification of the TC1225/TORAYCA T300 fabric qualification declared at the end of 2025.

An additional NCAMP material qualification of Toray Cetex TC1225 uni-directional tape, reinforced with TORAYCA T1100, is currently in progress and is expected to be completed by September 2026.
