Solvay at the JEC World 2018 launched VAC-PLY VMS, its new next-generation, multi-layer microporous vacuum channel for resin infusion.
VAC-PLY VMS3 was specifically designed to maximize air removal during resin infusion processes, thus optimizing impregnation and avoiding dry spots. It addresses the manufacturing challenges customers face and simplify the infusion process, making it ideal for large structures’ infusion, such as boat hulls or wind turbine blades, where maintaining vacuum over long distances is critical.
