National Composites Centre Introduces NCC Discover Conference Series

The National Composite Centre (NCC) has launched a new series of conferences, with the first “NCC Discover: Composite Overmoulding 2019” taking place in Bristol, UK, on November 06, 2019. Two keynote presentations are confirmed, with additional speakers to be announced. Keynote technical presentations will be given by: •Graeme Herlihy, President, Western Europe, of Engel Austria •James Myers, Head of R&D for Aerospace and Composite Applications at Victrex The one-day conference will also feature manufacturing demonstrations of the NCC’s Engel Duo 1700T organomelt research cell, technical poster presentations and guided collaborative workshop sessions. The conference will be open to all interested businesses, however a broad spectrum of representatives from plastics injection molding, composites manufacturing, OEMs, tier suppliers, tool manufacturers, Universities and material suppliers are anticipated to be in attendance. Abstracts are invited for the NCC Discover: Composite Overmoulding 2019 technical conference. Abstract entries of up to 500 words specific to composites overmolding technology should be submitted for review to NCCdiscover@nccuk.com with the subject line ‘Composites Overmoulding 2019’. The deadline for entries is 12:00 noon (GMT), on Friday September 13th, 2019.
