Mississippi State University in order to advance research and economic development in Mississippi has opened the Marvin B. Dow Stitched Composites Development Center at the MSU Advanced Composites Institute. The university hosted an open house and grand opening ceremony on April 12, 2019. The festivities began with a grand opening ceremony and recognition of pioneering NASA scientist Marvin B. Dow.
As a partner with MSU's Raspet Flight Research Laboratory, The Marvin B. Dow Advanced Composites Institute is a University resource with a collaborative vision of bridging engineering and science disciplines at MSU by establishing an internationally recognized institute of excellence for composites research & technology.
