Manufacturers will learn more about closed molding and advanced processes in less time than ever before, due to LIVE demos presented by Composites One and the Closed Mold Alliance at Booth U24 during CAMX 2019 in Anaheim, September 24-26.
With the theme of Get Power from Knowledge, the event will feature demos of vacuum infusion, light resin transfer molding and advanced processes producing real-life parts for aerospace, transportation, marine, wind energy, consumer recreation and other markets. They include:
• A multi-segment presentation of a boat hull being built, step by step
• An aerospace part built, damaged and repaired, also presented in several segments
• A kayak paddle built from carbon fiber, starting with a video showing the 3D printing of its mold all the way through production
• A production cell demo outputting skateboards nonstop
• New technology demos featuring robotic gel coaters, next-gen tooling and other innovations
At CAMX, Composites One will also preview details on their 2020 Workshop Program produced in partnership with IACMI – the Composites Institute.
