Hexcel to Exhibit at SAMPE 2019

Hexcel will be exhibiting at the SAMPE technical conference May 21-22, in Charlotte, North Carolina (Booth L22) to promote its latest technologies and innovations in composites. One of Hexcel’s award-winning innovations, HiTape advanced reinforcements, will be promoted with a wing box demonstrator showing how this dry carbon fiber tape can be used to make structural parts in aerospace applications. SAMPE visitors will also see a wing structure on display to demonstrate Hexcel’s HiMax multiaxial reinforcements. Hexcel will also display its HexAM additive manufacturing technology that combines high performance PEKK thermoplastics with carbon fiber to produce flight-ready 3D printed HexPEKK parts. At the show, Hexcel will be promoting its newest high modulus fiber, HexTow HM50. Hexcel continues to promote its PrimeTex woven carbon fabrics. An example of the versatile HexPly M77HF prepreg will be showcased at SAMPE in use in a lightweight vaulting pole demonstrator.
