Gurit Launches Balsaflex Lite and Ampreg 30

Gurit introduced a core combination which was considered to be the future winning core materials solution at JEC 2018. In addition, the Company launched Ampreg 30, a new low toxicity epoxy laminating system. The new products were featured alongside the Company’s range of well-known and trusted materials at the Paris Villepinte exhibition center at the Gurit stand. Gurit launched the newly developed Balsaflex Lite product with a novel coating system that is capable of reducing the resin uptake in infusion processes by up to 50% for rigid panels and by up to 40% for flexible balsa wood sheets. Gurit Balsaflex Lite forms what Gurit considers the future winning core materials combination for the wind energy industry. Gurit Balsaflex Lite samples are available as of now for Europe and North America. The innovative coating system will be launched to the Asian-Pacific market in the second half of 2018.
