Composites One informed that Al Dobbeck has assumed the role of Chief Executive Officer, effective January 5, 2026. Dobbeck succeeds Leon Garoufalis, who has transitioned to Vice Chair of the Board of Directors, where he will continue to support the company’s strategic direction. Steve Dehmlow remains Chairman of the Board.
Dobbeck has been with Composites One for 14 years and most recently served as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. During his tenure, he has also held the roles of Chief Financial Officer and Controller.
During his time at Composites One, Dobbeck led the execution and integration of four acquisitions and drove enterprise-wide operational initiatives to strengthen scalability, visibility, and disciplined growth. His leadership has supported the company’s continued focus on customer service, operational excellence, and long-term value creation.
