Tecniplas Standardizes Tanks for Applications in Sanitation

December 13 2016

Tecniplas, a Brazilian leader in the production of tanks and special equipment made of FRP composites, implemented over the past few months a number of changes in the designs of tanks produced in Cabreuva (SP), adjusting them to suit the typical specifications of the basic sanitation sector.

Among the key changes, Priscila Moraes, responsible for the marketing area of Tecniplas, highlights the inclusion of resting points, structures consisting of intermediate platforms and stairs.

The tanks produced by Tecniplas for applications in sanitation may have up to 15m in diameter and store 4.5 million liters. Compared to traditional concrete tanks, these ones ensure several advantages, such as increased tightness and longer lifetime.
