Netzsch Unveils New Tool Mountable Sensor for CFRP Quality Control

Netzsch has launched a new in-mold process analytical tool as the next step for intellident and robust composite manufacturing.

The new tool-mountable sensor controls the quality of carbon fiber parts during high-volume production. The performance of the sensor was tested during the run-time of the BMBF funded and AVK awarded project "OPTO-Light" involving the partners ARGES, AZL of RWTH Aachen University, BMW, Carl Zeiss, KraussMaffei, Precitec and Sensortherm.
