NCC Training Courses First to be Approved by IOM3

The National Composites Centre (NCC) informed that six of its composites training courses have been approved by leading global professional body, the Institute of Materials, Mining and Minerals (IOM3).

The NCC courses are the first to be approved by IOM3 for quality and professional development. Courses that achieve the Quality Assured and PD Approved status contain content that is delivered to a high, independent standard, assuring learners they are receiving expert training, designed to increase their knowledge and skill-set in their chosen area.

The courses approved include NCC’s popular Introduction to Composites, Introduction to Manual Prepreg and Introduction to Resin Infusion, and are taught both in person and via virtual classrooms.

The approved NCC courses include:

• Introduction to Composites (in-person and virtual classroom)
• Introduction to Manual Prepreg (in-person)
• Introduction to Resin Infusion (in-person)
• Introduction to Composite Repair (in-person)
• Introduction to Composite Design (in-person and virtual classroom)
