Johns Manville Furnace in Ohio Rebuilt to Support North American Composites Growth

Johns Manville (JM) informed that its operation in Waterville, Ohio, successfully re-started a furnace with increased capacity this summer.

JM’s new furnace in Waterville produces a broad portfolio of engineered products, such as continuous glass fibers for composites, building materials and engineered thermoplastic market, and allows for production growth and flexibility within JM’s product families for polyamides, polyesters and polypropylenes. It also enables JM to continue to serve customers in the composites and engineered thermoplastic field and to support market growth in the U.S.
