sanjay mazumdar Sanjay Mazumdar, Ph.D., CEO, Lucintel

With over ten years of global consulting experience, Dr. Sanjay Mazumdar has led Lucintel in diverse projects such as growth consulting, due diligence, value chain assessments and opportunity analyses. Sanjay has been instrumental in leading and executing 100’s of projects for OEMs, Tier 1s, Tier 2s, material suppliers and investors across aerospace, marine, wind energy, transportation and sporting goods markets. He has been chairman and speaker at various leading conferences.

Sanjay holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering and has additional training in Strategic Management from M.I.T. Boston. He has also authored a highly endorsed book titled “Composites Manufacturing, Materials, Products and Process Engineering” as well as published more than 25 technical papers in the international journals and conference proceedings.

   
norman timmins Norman Timmins, MBA, Director of Consulting

Norman is Director of Consulting for Lucintel with over 20 years work experience in B2B marketing, consulting, energy and transportation.

Consulting Experience: Prior to Lucintel, Norman worked for Boston Consulting Group and Bain Consulting, managing consulting projects for Fortune 500 companies. Sample projects include:
   • Feature Value and growth strategy for White Goods for Fortune 100 Company
   • Growth and Cost Optimization Project for Fortune 100 Transportation Company
   • Procurement Strategy and Negotiations for near bankrupt technology firm

Business Development Experience in Mexico: Worked for DHL Express as Country Director of Corporate Strategy while directly managing an urgent and highly successful turnaround of a +350 retail storefronts. Also served as Senior Manager for Business Development for PMI in Mexico achieving company record for sales margins while managing firm’s most profitable account.

Major strengths: strategic consulting, growth strategies, value based management, profit improvement and market research. Norman received his MBA with honors from Wharton and his BA with honors from Brown University.

Projjal has over 8 years of core business consulting experience across a wide variety of industries. His functional expertise ranges across business research & consulting, partner due diligence, competitive intelligence, strategy formulation and implementation along with strong project & general management experience.

 

Roy’s areas of interest include analyzing emerging trends, technologies and market behavior in the automotive, aerospace, thermal management, wind energy, pharmaceuticals, Agro-business, Information technology and electronics markets. Roy’s interest also includes emerging applications in MEMS and Nanotechnology.

 

Prior to Lucintel, Projjal’s had worked with Frost & Sullivan as Research Manager responsible for project management & delivery of research and consulting services to global clients. He also worked as Consulting Manager at Synovate Business Consulting and managed projects across Asia-Pacific, Europe and Latin America.

 

Project management in research & consulting engagements through cross vertical knowledge management is the most important facet of Roy’s job description at Lucintel.

 

Projjal holds a Master in Science (Applied Physics) from Indian Institute of Technology, Madras and an M.B.A. Projjal has also been a speaker at several conferences on emerging technologies and has also been on Bloomberg’s expert panel on high technology markets. His articles have also published by leading business publications.

Senior Analyst and Project Manager for Lucintel, with 20 years of diverse experience in market research, opportunity screening, value based management, voice of the customer, value chain analysis, and market structure analysis. Former marketing research professional with Dow Chemical, encompassing a succession of increasingly responsible positions in market research and business intelligence, including business unit research analyst, research manager for business analysis team, subject matter expert in marketing research expertise center, and internal business/ marketing consultant.
